NZQA Registration If you have international qualifications,
and you wish to enter New Zealand to immigrate, work or study, you must
have your qualifications evaluated by the New Zealand Qualifications
Authority (NZQA).
NZQA's Qualification Recognition Services will establish the nearest comparable New Zealand qualification(s) to your international qualification(s). The rise of international documentation and qualifications fraud has made it necessary to verify the relevant qualifications and documents from all countries without exception.
NZQA will need to verify the status of an awarding institution and/or the information you provide to be sure that it is accurate.
Professional Registration:
If you wish to practise a profession in New Zealand, you may need to apply for registration or membership of a professional body. These professions include accountancy, medicine, nursing and teaching, but there are many more.
Professional bodies and registration authorities have their own requirements for membership or registration. In many cases you will need your qualifications evaluated by NZQA and considered by the appropriate professional body.
